About the Community
Vizcaya is a progressive community that is committed to providing an extraordinary living experience while maintaining a small community atmosphere. Vizcaya is located on the southwestern border of Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida, an area that is still growing. This area is known as Perdido Key.
Perdido Key is home to 16 miles of pristine "sugar white sand" beaches and the crystal clear water of the Gulf. There are 3 state parks, Perdido Key State Park, Big Lagoon State Park, and Tarklin Bayou. Vizcaya is just minutes to Johnson Beach at the Gulf Islands National Seashore.
Our community is close enough to downtown Pensacola to enjoy all of the amenities offered by the larger city ... but still maintain the look and feel of a close knit village where people know their neighbors and experience the benefits of an upper end community in the Florida countryside. Pensacola is known as the "Cradle of Naval Aviation" and is home to Pensacola Naval Air Station and the Navy's Blue Angles. Pensacola is also home to many famous historical and archaeological sites.
Vizcaya homeowners are made up of local business owners, active duty military, retired military, US government workers, retired US government workers, civilians working with local companies, and those retired from the civilian work force.
Vizcaya is located within an easy two plus mile drive of NAS Pensacola, a short commute for military personnel and government employees. Vizcaya is west of Blue Angel Parkway off of Gulf Beach Highway. This is an ideal quiet location for all to make a home.
